SIXTH FORM ADMINISTRATOR

JG5 Full time salary £28,598 to £32,061

Part time salary £25,777.30 to £28,898 based on 37 hours a week and 47 working weeks a year (including 6 days holiday working and 5 inset days)

Backwell School is looking to appoint a new, permanent Sixth Form Administrator to join the Sixth Form team from the 3 September 2026. 

Working under the general direction of the Head of Sixth Form, the post holder will work within the Sixth Form team, providing confidential management, and administrative support for the day-to-day operation of the Sixth Form department.

The post holder has a key role with a large variety of responsibilities, ranging from monitoring sixth form attendance, dealing with all aspects of sixth form admissions, Sixth form event management and planning, and key administration tasks for the department.

The post holder should have good organisational skills, confident IT skills, and ability to work under pressure.

The post is full time, 37 hours Monday to Friday, and for 47 weeks of the year, which includes 6 days holiday working and 5 inset days. We would also welcome applications from those who would like to work part time, however please note that we would require the post holder to work every day of the week, but the days could be shorter, equivalent to 6 hours a day / 30 hours a week.
